Smogen distillery have really impressed with the whiskies that they've released so far. This is a very smoky, BBQ-like whisky and represents another amazing small batch release. The spirit was filled into small French oak casks in January 2012 and bottled on 28th February 2016. The malt used was Optic malt, which was heavily peated prior to distillation.

Smögen har släppt flera egna single casks och mindre blandningar som tagit mig nästan till himmelen, och High Coast har släppt blandningar av många fat som tagit mig nästan lika långt. Dessa två single casks når inte lika högt, om än det handlar om bra whisky. Det är nog dött lopp mellan de båda.
